Basic Reference

Our referencing process includes checks for adverse credit history, including bankruptcies, IVAs, CCJs and court decrees, as well as any undisclosed previous names or addresses linked to the applicant/s. We also verify the applicant's electoral register record to support proof of address, our partner default database is searched for records of previous rent defaults or rent protection claims, covering approximately 33,000 cases. We also compare recent applications to identify any inconsistencies. Finally we assess the applicant's suitability and provide a basic affordability assessment based on their disposable income and maximum affordable rent contribution.
